(Registered and approved person with the FSA) after graduating university with a BSc, Lane Clark began his financial career in equities with Arjent Stockbrokers in the City. Lane Clark left the equity markets to progress his career in the soon to be thriving- commodity markets. Whilst working in the commodity arena, Lane was employed as a financial broker, and then a commodity trader. His progression continued with him becoming the Director of Trading, where he was responsible for implementing trading strategies in conjunction with his trading team. Eventually Lane became Managing Director of CA Trading where he was responsible for over seeing every facet of the operation.
Lane's interest and success in the financial markets allowed him to start managing his own portfolio, where he successfully traded a plethora of investment asset classes including FX, Precious Metals, CFD's, Equities, Warrants, Options and Futures.
Because of this and the impending volatility caused by the credit debacle and subsequent changes in the marketplace, Lane played a prominent role in the formation of Beta 2, which was formed with the intention of specialising in short term trading strategies.
